Groove Matter is a 4-piece band that fuses the old-school sound of jazz with the contemporary rhythms of RnB, Funk, and Soul.

Having come about in 2019, they have performed at some of Cape Town’s hottest venues, resulting in an abundance of experience and although their expertise lies in jazz, they are a very versatile group, performing many different genres and styles of music in their time.

Groove Matter consists of four trained musicians who have dedicated their lives to the exploration of music.
