Masala Band

Masala are the ultimate South African cover band. Festive, Fun and groovy, they will immediately put a smile on your face and will get pretty much everyone up out of their seats and “shakin’ it” at some point.

This upbeat Cape Town band is fronted by the iconic Fancy Galada on lead vocals and features virtuoso Marimba player, vocalist/ percussionist Anele Viti. Jonny Blundell on Guitar, and sister Julie Blundell on bass bring huge added experience and superb vocal harmonies. All held down by ultimate seasoned pro drummer Ivan bell.
You will hear everything from Juluka to Santana, Traditional African to old school R&B, all with Masala’s particular, South African mix adding a spicy flavour.

Masala can provide dance music, background music, or a focused, 30/35 minute cabaret entertainment, very suitable during Gala dinners for local or international audiences.
