Rob Hack is a solo jazz guitarist who plays electric guitar, steel string acoustic, nylon string classical, bass guitar & ukulele

Rob was a founder member of the very popular local 80’s band Z-Astaire (Robin Auld). The band was well known for national hit singles ‘Baby you’ve been good to & ‘All of Woman’ & the album ‘Zen surfing in the third world’ which received wide critical acclaim. Various overseas and national tours.

Rob has played with various musicians, percussionists & singers including:  Gary Horne, Leslie Rae Dowling, Steve Walsh, Beverly Rinquest, Nadia Scaillet, Miranda Basset, Roy Kassel, Frank Cudumbie, Tony Paco, Lee Gold (Gelderblom), Mike Perry, Hayden Hack & Heather Roth   He has had residencies as a solo guitar player and  with  a Latin Jazz band work at the following venues:

Mount Nelson Hotel, Table Bay Hotel, The Radisson, Kennedys Cigar Bar, The Cullinan, The Lord Charles Hotel, Erinvale Golf Estate, Fancourt Golf Estate- George, Royal Livingstone Hotel- Zambia- for the hotel opening in 2001, Plur Café- Tableview, Cloverfield- Stellenbosch, Bloemendal- Durbanville, The Crypt & various other venues over the years.
