David Goldberg also known to his fellow musicians as Dawie…..has been playing piano/keyboards and singing professionally for the past 20 years. Born in Johannesburg he grew up playing the many venues in Rocky Street perfecting his craft.
In 2018 Dave recruited Bruce Williams (ex BAXTOP and TRIBE AFTER TRIBE); Malcolm Aberdein (bass legend); Matthew Mitchell (one of South Africa’s finest young guitarists) and formed “The Dave Goldberg Band” which is fast becoming known as “The DG Band”.
The band’s performance skills are both passionate and breathtaking delivering a varied, vibrant, and memorable show.
They will take you on a musical journey featuring Dave’s original work and some awesome adaptions of other well-known artists’ material.
“The DG Band” are at present recording their debut alum at Mighty Music Productions in Muizenberg which should be available soon.
