Brothers Ben and Nat Bruzas are the current performing members of The Name On The Drum.They released their independently recorded EP “Souvenirs”  in 2019, and have toured KZN, Gauteng, and Eastern Cape.

“The Name On The Drum” is an indie/folk band that focuses on playing original music but they also insert a variety of covers into their live shows.

With a wide range of sounds from distorted electric guitar, subtle percussion, harmonicas, and acoustic guitars,The name on the drum form a unique blend of honest, thought-provoking songwriting with absorbing musical performances.

With influences that include, Frightened Rabbit, The National, Angus & Julia Stone, Leonard Cohen, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Bon Iver, they also try to build awareness of current world issues.

When the band was formed in 2011 the plan was to have a different ‘name on the drum’ at each performance, now they simply go by “The Name On The Drum” or “TNOTD”.
